Just like many of you, we are a victim of Be Production, LLC as well. We were shopping at the mall on a Sunday and we were told how beautiful our kids were. The lady informed us that they are doing a casting call and she happened to notice our kids and had to invite us to their casting call which was at 4:00pm that same day. I asked her, is there anymoney involved? She said, absolutely not -- which I should have known already "not at the casting call."

So we went in to the casting call. All of our kids read scripts and were told that they will be making their phone calls on Tues/Wed if they are interested in our kids?

Wed 11/26/08, we get a call that they are interested in a second interview for our daughter. So we set up a second interview with Courtney Hughes (supposedly Co-Founder and Sister to the owner of the company) at 12:45pm on 12/6/08.

12/6/08, we walked in and was greeted by Courtney Hughes herself and was escorted to a room full of other families /"victims". They pumped all the kids, and of course my daughter got excited.

Then, Courtney Hughes invited us back into her office. She again pumped my daughter up and talked about her dreams of becoming a model and/or an actress. She also complimented both of us of how beautiful we both look, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah!

Then, she came out with her FEE SCHEDULE! Of course with my heart all in for my daughter's dream of becoming an actress/model, I paid the deposit of $325. Courtney Hughes said, we need to sign a contract right there and then even if my daughter's dad is not there to sign. Otherwise, we would lose the spot! Of course I signed and was informed that I have 3 business days to Cancel and they will refund within 10 business days. She made sure to let me know that I have until Wednesday 12/9/08 to cancel. Til then, their finance manager informed me that they are not going to take the debit out of my account until 12/10/08. (Guess what, that evening I checked my account and sure it is...they took that money out of my account)

12/8/09 - I cancelled the contract and received confirmation of this receipt. Guess what? Courtney Hughes is nowhere to be found. I left several emails and voicemail for Courtney Hughes and still no response. Then finally, on 12/26/08, I called from a blocked telephone number and Courtney Hughes answered the phone! She informed me that they are backed up and she promised to have it back into my bank account first thing on 1/5/09. Of course, I said ok and advised that her that this has gone way over board.

1/11/09 I emailed Courtney Hughes again asking her where is my money? I told her again that I have lost patience and I am going to take this to media action which will cost her company more that $325 that they owe me.

1/13/09 Courtney Hughes emailed me back and wrote: " I have just heard that we will be refunding everyone who is owed within the next two days! I hope tp have it back to you as soon as it is processed."

1/16/09 NO REFUND YET! -- this is why I making this report. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT become a victim of Be Production. They are a SCAM! Don't only read/listen to me, you seen their report. BEWARE OF THEM! They do NOT honor their contracts with financials - I doubt they are any different with their talent contracts.
