Good Life Publishing Advertising Scam Delray Beach, Florida

Received a call, like previous writer, explaining that I could reach more people by advertising in their 'Good Life Magazine' that is distributed to the area golf clubs.  I chose the cheapest and put it on my credit card.  They tried to upsell me, but I said no.  They did send an email, and back and forth, to a 'graphics dept' that emailed me a copy of what the ad may look like.  I sent corrections and was told that before publication, I'd get a copy.  Since I paid in Oct I waited til January.  Called and told there was a delay with publisher.  Ok.  Next month, same thing.  I had checked online in January and seen no complaints against them at that time, so ok..Had to have surgery and was sick, but after seeing the Masters on tv, realized, 'hey, it's golf season' and called.  No response. 

So, checking online, I see several similar complaints, including the BBB.  Now I'm pissed.  I filed a complaint with the BBB and thank goodness I charged fee to my credit card.  I called them just in time (it is day 174 and you have 180 days to file!) and they are refunding the charges.  I dare GoodLife to contest it!!  I will be contacting any and all consumer agencies.  My only concern is that I know if they were here in NJ, no problem.  But I am aware that Florida does not have much in the way of consumer protection.
