Good Mortgage Deceptive Greenville South Carolina

This company has some serious competency problems.  When we tried to refinance our condo through them, they put us through it all.  Weeks of getting all the information they required.  They then told us we qualified and locked in a rate. We were told to go ahead and get an appraisal and scheduled the closing.  Two days before the closing they called to tell us we don't qualify based on the type of condo we have.  This is something that should have come up at the very beginning!  We spent a ton of money on the appraisal AND paid them their fee which they said they would give back.  They never did.  Meanwhile, the rates had gone up.  Months later we are still being charged misc fees they racked up checking on our accounts and such.  They wasted so much of our time and money.  Do yourself a favor and really check out a mortgage company before you go through all of this headache.
