I had great service with Good Sam until July 2011. A serpentine belt broke and my radiator blew up as a result of driving to a safe place to park the RV.

I called Good Sam. I waited for over an hour and called them back. They said they were still trying to find someone to give me a tow. I called again after 2 hours and was told they contacted the police department to see if they could help. They said a parade was going on and they couldn't help until it was over. They gave me a number to call to find out if I could obtain a tow and then charge it to Good Sam. They asked me if I wanted to keep the case open. I said yes, just in case, because I didn't want to start from scratch again.

I called the number and a man said he would email me the form. I went to the parade and an hour later came home. NO EMAIL. I called Good Sam again only to find out the case was clsoed. I opened it again. After an hour, I called them back--still couldn't find a tow by anyone within a 50 mile radius.  I ended up calling Sandy's who always towed me before and asked if they tow RV's (I knew they did). They said yes and it would be $300. When I mentioned I had Good Sam, they said they don't deal wtih them, anymore, because they don't want to pay them what they require.

I called Good Sam back and told them what I found out. They said I could pay for the tow and file a report. I told them I would NOT pay--after being a member so many years and not being THAT MUCH of a bother, I felt they SHOULDL PAY NOW.

I finally got the tow, 9 hours after the first call. I was a day late getting to the campground.

I emailed Good Sam - no reply. I got five calls wanting me to renew, ALL  of which I turned out explaining I was waiting to hear from Good Sam. I wrote a letter - NO RESPONSE. I get all kinds of renewal notices which I wrote to note in and sent back - NO RESPONSE.

In all, I wrote two emails, many notes, expressed my concern on the phone a few times, emailed again to Marcus Lemoinis, the CEO, after an agent told me HE would answer.

Marcus did not answer.  ALL ATTEMPTS to talk to ANYONE at Good Sam concerning this was IGNORED.

And with all this in mind, I went from not renewing (at least not THIS year) to not renewing EVER AGAIN.

It is like losing a good friend, but a friend that turned their back on you!!!!!

I'm fed up.
