In July of 2009, I had a high fever, severe pain, and other symptoms of a UTI. I waited hours in the ER before I was seen. When I was finally seen, I wasnt given any pain management for hours, or even anything to help me as I was feeling very cold. Finally, my husband begged for pain medication, and they gave me tylenol, which did not help. The two ER nurses following my care treated me with such disdain implying that I was having unsafe promiscouos lifestyle that is why I was having UTI's. When lab results came back, it was found that I had a kidney infection from a genetic urinary obstruction. This wasnt from unsafe sexual practices.
My three day hospital stay was even worse. All I could hear was nurses speaking in Tagalog and staff complaining about how management is really bad to their nurses. I will never go to this hospital again.
