Good team movers, is the worst moving companyI have encounterd. I am a phycisian and have moved four times during my training, this is the most inferior quality, unreasonable, rude and unprofessional Sunrise, Florida

Worst moving company in my four long distance moves. They are only reachable initially when they want the consumer to sign a contact with them. After that, they never contacted me to inform that they were running late on the day of the move. I was moving form Atlanta, GA to Providence, RI on August 30th, 2012. I had already booked the elevator in advance and informed the movers, they did not care about anything. On the day of the move when i did not hear from them till noon, I called them. They have to respect for people's time and the efforts involved in moving, they told me the movers were running late so they would pick up the stuff the next day. Is this a joke? The elevator in my building was already booked for the next day. They came late evening, and quickly packed  my entire apt. with no consideration for how many items they were packing in one box. This resulted in double the number of boxes than the original estimate and resulting in damage and broken items.

I had informed them earlier that I would be available at the delivery site in 2 days as I was already flying out the next day. However, they put my stuff in storage and never contacted me to inform me when the delivery would be ready. I had to call them several times only to find out that my stuff was in storage and they blamed it on me, saying the driver informed them that the consumer is not ready for delivery. This is a lie and a fabricated story to cover up for the delay in delivery.

Also, they compelled me to pay $ 400 for an additional insurance certificate needed at my new residential apt. building. When the total estimate doubled than was originally given to me including more than $ 1000 for packing material and delivery, I was very hesitant to pay it. At this point they threatened to take my stuff in hostage and auction it if I did not pay in full. I had no choice but to pay them. I found several damaged and broken items. They were impossible to reach after the delivery. I had to file a complaint with BBB, to recover for the damaged. You would be surprised that they agreed to pay $ 32 for 10 damaged items including a broken side table.

Please save yourself time, efforts, peace of mind and your precious hard earned money by staying away from GOOD TEAM MOVERS, SUNRISE, FL.
