goodfellas transmissions advertises on the net and is also an ebay seller. i purchased a ford aod they call the boss through ebay for a 69 mustang street rod i have been building for several years now. fitting and fabricating takes time when doing a complete automotive rebuild so too much time had elapsed for much help from ebay or pay pal , so i am doing what i can to let others know about these crooks.

the transmission i was supposed to get is the ford aod / aode "the boss"  capable of holding up to 600 horsepower and 600 ft lbs of torque. it is supposed to have alto red clutches with coleen seals, it had the alto red clutches but not the coleen seals , high performance pump , the pump was stock and used, extra wide high performance kevlar bands , they are stock and used, A+ overdrive servo, it is also stock and used ,  a high flow filter  but only a stock one is there, a spiral roller clutch and snap ring, only stock there too, modified sun gear, again just stock, hardened direct clutch hub -nope just stock, hardened foreward drum hub again just stock,  ratchet sprag and drum - nope not here either.

it did have a mild shift kit and new seals and a little paint on the outside to look better though.

when i first got the car running i had some trouble trying to make it shift and they said i needed to keep adjusting the TV cable, i did this untill i about wore out my cable but finally got a descent shift from first to second but when i got fast enough to go into overdrive it was like shifting into neautral and the comunication stopped from them, by now i am very suspicious, i took the tranny out and  down to a locale shop and asked them to take it apart and tell me what it had. meanwhile i finally got an email from goodfellas telling me i burned it up trying to adjust the tv cable, this is when i let them know what i knew and the issue with overdrive came from a stuck valve in the valve body and if they would have helped me through that i would probably have not known what frauds they are for awhile, i did have some choice words for them so i guess i am too hostile to talk to. bottom line they are frauds , and charged me $1800 for a transmission that shows signs of laying in a florida swamp as it was not even very clean inside- john tsikouris is a crook as well as his staff and they should be in jail !
