This garage stinks in more ways than one.
I signed up as a technician, was told that at the end of 90 days i would get benefits. I never recieved an Employee Manual. 3 months of hard work went by, no insurance. I asked them, and was taken into the back room and intimidated Mafia-style. The head manager there has a bumper sticker saying "Gun control means hitting your target". Needless to say, i was afraid.
it wasnt but a month after that that i had quit. These people at this garage bullied me to no end and treated me like something the dog dragged in. I was also subject to religious coercion by the fundamentalist idiots that work in this place. Can you imagine, listening to country music's pabulum about family, America and God while going through severe family issues? VERY PAINFUL.
I tried to contact Jose Ascencio about this. Nothing was done, and in the end this company has blackballed me even to the unemployment office, painting me as a ranting raving nutcase to all callers. The other half of that story, unfortunately, is that i was pushed to that point by management, and staff.
For what they did to me, i want to OWN that garage. I still fear that OC may be involved, especially seeing as at least 2 employees were from NYC/NJ area, so this is going to be anonymous to all but lawyers. I dont want that guy practicing gun control on my head. The possibility is strong enough to me that i am filing this under OC.
I also have not seen a doctor in years and worry about my health, no thanks to these morons. I am now 27 and fear the worst. Can you imagine spending day to day worrying about early heart disease and cancers? That, people, is soul-crushing anxiety to live under.
I dont think it would hurt either to testify about the amount of defective tires that were written off as curb damage at the customers' expense. This and many other things make me wonder just how far the corruption goes up..
Thanks, Goodyear, im buying Michelins from now on. And one day, with the help of my Biomass-to-Liquids endeavors or a good enough lawyer, i hope to own these guys and turn it back into the Goodyear i remember.

"Just because you could slip by the editor on this site, doesnt mean that im stupid enough to believe you when you say 'I never called you that'. And now you wish me to die. Lovely."
Show me where I wished you to die. As always, you cannot.
"Oh yes, and most people i know that like that sort of music are uneducated hicks who i hope will be first up against the wall when society collapses."
Of course. A great Patriot such as yourself would execute people for listening to "that sort of music". That sounds pretty rational. The only people I have ever met who despise country music are the rap listeners. That's some great entertainment for you. Today's country is actually Southern Rock. Rock and Roll is just amped up R&B/Soul. Alternative is New Wave. On and on. But Rap? What started as a little ditty by Blondie(the very 1st rap song was Rapture) has become an abomination demanding death, rape, etc. You're a hoot.
"And who said i need to tell similar corporate idiots about my grandparents? If they deny me coverage based on that, im suing. Because, to have a pre-existing condition, i would have to have it already now wouldnt i? Officially diagnosed and the whole 9 yards."
No, you would not have to actually be suffering. Having a genetic predisposition is enough. Not telling them would do you no good, since the tests performed upon hospital admittance would show the problem, and your insurance would be immediately voided.
"Can someone ban this corporate shill?"
Yes, ED can. He won't though. You see, ED believes in the 1st Ammendment, and as long as I adhere to his rules of engagement, he posts everything. Knowing how things work does not make me a "corporate shill". It means I have an education.
"P.S. 'Huh?!' indeed. Should show you that you know nothing about me or who i really am."
I know what you post, and so far you are doing yourself no favors by adding to them.

"Just because i dont agree in lockstep with you, i am thus insane. Lovely."
Show me where I said you are insane. I never said it, and you cannot post where I did.
"You remind me of my father, which im sure youll interpret 10 ways from Sunday and read things into that arent there."
Like how you think I called you insane?
"He had the same attitude as you do. If youre not pro-corporate, pro-America conservative, you must be insane and in need of...reeducation."
Again...I never called you insane. Your own postings aren't exactly dismissing that from being an issue however.
"You, sir, are disgusting and dare i say it un-American with your attitude that anyone who disagrees with you is insane. Have you considered learning Russian and moving to Petersburg with this sort of attitude? Cause thats about where it belongs."
Riiiiight. Being a Free Market Capitalist is obviously more in line with Communism, Socialism, and Stalinism than being an American. Again, show me where I ever called you insane. That sir, is YOUR word.
"I am telling you the truth here about what happened to me at that garage. Hostile work environment, broken promises, and quite possibly OC. And if it isnt OC, what was done to me there certainly counts as a crime."
OC? What are you talking about? Playing music everyone else likes does not constitute a hostile work environment.
"And no, bringing out the few exceptions doesnt help your ultimately pro-corporate cause. I still find country music disgusting, because I am a man of science and reason who sees things a lot more clearly than you ever will."
Of course. I forgot you are a scientist. Huh?!
"P.s. to the other poster: No, i do not worry too much. Again, both granddads, heart disease. Translation for those not versed in basic genetics: I'll be a dead man walking at 30. mmmk? If you can disprove that let me know."
Okay, you'll be dead in 3 years(your claim, not mine). If so, why bother with health insurance. Most people just keel over when they have a heart attack. They hit the ground and are DOA at the hospital. No need for health insurance at all. It won't pay for the funeral, and you won't be around for the bill anyway. I have more bad news for you. When and if you ever do get health insurance from an employer, you will have to fill out the forms and tell them about your family history. This will eliminate any coverage for those issues right from the start...PRE EXISTING CONDITION.
In other words, you have not been ripped off in any way.
P.S: If you can prove you'll be dead at 30(your timeline, not mine), do it. I agree with Thomas. You worry too much.

I just cannot imagine how anyone could think you were off-kilter. You go from one whacked out rant to another.
I like how you think country music is for/from right wing fanatics. It's just like any other group of people...some far left, some far right, and the vast majority somewhere in the middle. Those crazy right wing Dixie Chicks! And Reba...what was she thinking with her anti-gun position? Trace Adkins saying we should cut and run from Iraq...what a right winger he is!
Nah...you seem like a perfectly sane individual.

"You were scared of a bumper sticker? I've seen this same sticker for more than 20 years, and yet I have never felt even the least bit afraid of it. BTW, you do know the right to keep and bear arms exists, right? Also, Florida is a right to carry state AND is well known for it's Castle Doctrine."
Ok, when youre dragged into the back room and intimidated, and half the crew seems to be on Witness Protection from NYC and NJ you gotta wonder.
"Okay...Very few garages play anything except country music in the shop area. It happens to be the most popular form of music bar none. I'll just bet it was painful to hear about how good America is for you.Ditto for listening to music that everyone in the family can listen to, without having to explain why Mommy isn't really a h*o, or a B***h, and how killing cops isn't a good idea. Must suck being you, huh? "
Yeah. It sucks to live in a right-wing society in desperate need of another revolution that will make our first one look like a July 4th celebration in the burbs. Bottom line: It was still insensitive. America may have been good to you and the rest of the "Me" generation, but for us XYZ folk its gonna suck. We are running out of gas, metals, environment, you name it. This is the end of civilization. You think im gonna be a happy sort of person? You think im going to believe in the system like you do? After being lied to for years that we would one day make the stars and now knowing that we are headed back to the Iron Age at least?
Really good for me. God help any kid that gets born right now - by the time he hits his teen years he'll be toting a gun, much like in Africa. Except itll be here.
"You couldn't handle not having Health Insurance for 90 days, yet hadn't seen a Doctor in years? Huh?! You are 27 and live in abject fear every day of getting cancer and/or heart disease? WHAT?! I'm 46 and haven't even thought of getting either of those EVER."
And like most people you are probably headed straight for those problems. Both my grandfathers died of MI's. What am i supposed to do, eat McD's like
(and until) theres no tomorrow???? YOU WOULD BE SCARED TOO, if you had that sort of family history.
"A raving nutcase? I think your own post pretty much gives that impression."
I hope for your sake that the few of the corporate armies (Blackstone anyone?) can save you from an angry populace when gas hits $5+ on the east coast.

The more you worry, the more you worry.
I am told that non-Rx sam-e is good for mild depression. And depression, anxiety, and many other issues, can often be caused by mild chemical imbalance problems. And I do not mean illegal drug use.
Sometimes extreme experiences can also cause problems, i.e. post traumatic stress disorder. But usually it is "chemicals". Sometimes vitamin deficencies can be the culprit.
The human brain is one complicated device that can be slightly put off by very mild chemical imbalances. A doctor visit may be a good idea.
