Goodys Deceptive practice magazines Monroe Georgia

I opened a Goody's credit card account in the store a couple of years ago at which time the salesman talked me into taking free magazines and by doing so I would receive various discounts and points. I was told to choose six magazines and keep them for three months and at the end of the three month period,  I could cancel all or part of the subscriptions. Before the three-month period ended I informed them that I did not want to keep any of the magazines, the person transferred me around and around finally getting a person associated with the magazines and I was told to keep them an additional three months at no charge, I said no cancel these. I had not purchased anything else on my credit card so I expected to pay it off when I received my statement however, lo and behold there were numerous charges on there for magazines for which I am still fighting with Goody's over. My bill is over 200.00 and I have not purchased anything since the first day I got the card. This is a scam and somehow they are tied up with these magazine companies, at this rate, I will be paying thousands of dollars for magazines that I did not want to start with. The only good news is that they finally stopped the subscription. What a ripoff!!
