Google Pro / internetincomeinitiative /Google Money Tree

On March10th I paid via Pay Pal a sum of $3.88 for an intructional disk to be mailed with internet income oportunities. I assumed Google was a respected sponsor.

As of March 20th I had not received a disk, and the original site could not be accessed again, (warning #1); so I e-mailed the firm at support@internetincomeintiative.com and asked why the disk had not been received. The money ($3.88) was finally debited on March 23rd. The disk arrived around Mar 31st.

I received an email reply telling me to call support at 888-657-8585 which I did. I was informed that I could cancel 'membership'. Since there had been no (observable) mention of a 'membership' and no description of what services might be covered by such membership, I verbally canceled the membership and was assured no further fees would be incurred.

Wrong! I was debitted $72.21 on April 1. I had to change my Pay Pal and bank card #'s to be safe from further abuse.

I called 'customer support' again and was told that I did not cancel the 'membership' in the allotted 7 day period of application. This would not have been possible, even if it was in fine print somewhere on the original application, as I could not access the original site and had no telephone number to call before I sent my March 20th e-mail.

I asked that either the services be rendered and described or a full refund be made. 'Stephanie' seemed to be a robot with only one message repeated over and over -"You were told that you only had 7 days to cancel in your application - it was on the application". - Perhaps, but it was well hidden and cannot be accessed at their website now. She also said they were a 3rd party company and had no autorization to refund or to explain the services.

It finally dawned on my 72 year old head that I had been 'scammed' - big time. I feel foolish and ripped off but I feel better getting this reported. I have little hope of getting my money back. I am forwarding this report to their so-called address, which I am sure no longer is valid if it ever was.

Incidentally, the 'disk' only held a summary of free on-line sites for web income - no leads, no instructions beyond the website reference.

On Aptil 13, I received a call from a polite young man named Cody who told me he would 'try' to refund my $72.12 but couldn't guarantee it.

He apologized for rude behavior of previous kids.

I am waiting to see what happens. He mentioned my 'Ripoff' report so this site is being watched. Good work.

Waiting for results - will update if refund is made.
