Like the other reporter, I clicked on a link within Facebook for Google Success Kit, and as it was only supposed to be A$1 (but turned out to be $1.42), I took up the offer. The amount was subsequently drawn from my account immediately. I never received the kit.

7 days later they took out an unauthorised transaction for AUD $44.98 (plus I've been hit with an additional transaction fee by the bank of $1.12).

I have found a number to call in the US 866 341 7163 but it is constantly busy during business hours.

I will try one more day before reporting the matter as fraud with my bank. I never authorised this second transaction.

I would like to hear from Ian whether he was able to get the matter back through his bank.

I have come across these types of deals quite often. More than likely you were (offered to explore this business on a trial bases (normally 7 or 14 Days). If you read the terms and conditions of the offer, I'm sure that it will state that if you; do not cancell within the 7 days, you will automatically be billed a monthly subscription fee of a certain amount imediatlly after the seventh day. Its not a rip off. You just have to always read the terms and conditions of these offers.
