I saw an article in the Wall Street Journal about "work at home" opportunities with Google.
Sounded good to me. Clicked on the "Google Biz Kit" link, paid my $1.97 fee and then found the scam. Nothing to do with Google - just using their name.
Did some research.
Found that this was a scam and that I had signed-up for 3 products with recurring monthly fees of about $60 unless I canceled within 7 days. I was lucky. I contacted the customer support phone numbers (3) immediately and canceled each one - got cancellation numbers, etc.
Ypu can't get the $1.97 sign-up fee back, but that's a small price to pay.
