Gordon Law Offices Henry R. Gordon, Esq. Misrepresentation of the case Las Vegas Nevada

On August 15, 2015, I contacted Henry R. Gordon, Esq. for consult to discuss a problematic child visitation case.  During my consult, I advised Gordon that I previously contacted another firm who were ready to file a motion to dismiss the visitation case in my favor for a specific cost which was a little outside of my affordability.  Gordon advised that he would try to resolve the case through mediation and the price for this would be $900.00 for 7 hrs otherwise the cost would be $1,500.00.  When I explained to him that - while mediation seemed reasonable to me - I predicted the party who filed would not agree to or follow the mediation and asked further if the opposing party wanted to take the matter further and we ended up in court if the $900 I was to pay now would apply towards the cost and HENRY GORDON agreed.  I restated - So I will pay you an additional $600 if the other party wants to fight it out in court and he again said yes.  This happened in the presence of his secretary.

As predicted, the mediation was concluded but shortly after the opposing party started problems and I reached out to Gordon to take the matter to a judge.  This time, he changed his story and tried to tell me that it would be 2500.00 to take the case to court instead of the $1500 originally quoted.  When I rebutted against this, he had a temper tantrum in his office and started making offensive comments about the entire situation which was INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL.  In addition, Henry Gordon called me a LIAR and told me that he would never agree to work this type of case for the $1,500 quoted.  

Henry Gordon has been a practicing attorney for a very long time; unfortunately, at some point in time it may be time to pose the question as to whether or not he is still capable to acting in the best interest of his clients.  Now I have to cough up another $2500 to pay a different attorney not only to handle the same case but ALSO  to CLEAN UP AFTER HENRY GORDON'S MESS that he left.

He is currently in a practice in Las Vegas Nevada with his son John.  Apples generally do not fall far from the tree.  BEWARE - DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY OR THIS LAW OFFICE TO REPRESENT YOU - NOT EVEN FOR A SIMPLE TRAFFIC TICKET OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
