Gordon Wanek, owner of Gordys Truck Stop and Restaurant was found guilty of sexual harrassment and the victim was awarded $10,200 in back pay and $20,000 for mental suffering. This incident involved the victim taking a break out behind the restaurant and when Gordon walked by he grabbed her breast. She said, What are you doing?. Gordon replied, "I'm feeling you up." Eleven witnesses testified, including a Deputy. It was established that Gordon has been observed in other incidents of lewd sexual harrassment toward other victims. Unfortunately for society, and women in particular, Gordon Wanek has many suboordiantes, in that he owns Gordys Truck Stop and Restaurant at LaPine, Oregon, a small community where Gordon Wanek owns substantial property and leases the property to local businesses. His holdings include two strip malls in La Pine with approximately 33 business lessees and a strip mall in Redmond with approximately 8 business lessees. The victim clearly did what was right for society and called the law. The law failed to make an indictment. But once you call the law on your boss for any reason, then the other employees treat you like you are a leper because they don' want to lose their job, especially in the very tight job market of La Pine. And the brown nosers will of course side with the boss and make your life as tough as possible. And so ultimately if you call the law on the boss, you are out of a job. The boss lied to the Oregon State Unemployment folks so she could not draw that, no suprise there. She was without income in a very tight job market for quite awhile before she finally found work. Do you think she could get a good and truthful reference from Gordy? I think not. Is this the kind of world you want for your working wife, your sister, your mother? Her only recourse was to file with Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, and they dug up more incidents on Gordy, and it was BOLI that decided the punishment. $20K might seem like a lot of money to a poor man, but Gordy is very wealthy so it is a slap on the wrist for him. Take the time to read the decision of BOLI and get your facts straight as to what the victim endured and the reasoning of the hearings judge.

You are actually trying to defend a person who comitted sexual assault???
You know the world is in trouble when trying to flirt with a girl gets you sent to jail and actually "Feeling her up" just costs 30,000
It just makes my head hurt.

This Gordon guy is the one who got ripped off if he had to pay $30k for that!! Our legal system is a joke! If I had b***s I'd be hoping someone would grab them if it means that I got $30k for it!
