I ordered a used transmission online with an understanding that it would be delivered within 7-14 days of paying the invoice. I paid the invoice on 4/4/2017 and then started receiving status notifications as follows (in addition to numerous phone calls I made to the company whcich can't be copied and pasted):

on 4/6/2017 -We truly value your business. Your order is currently being processed, and we should have a follow-up email to you within the next 2 business days from our Warehouse Procurement Team.

Our records show your invoice was signed and completed online on Tuesday, Apr 04, 2017. Shortly after it ships you will be emailed a tracking number and you will usually receive your order within 3-4 BUSINESS days after that. Please note this is an estimated delivery timeline based on normal circumstances. In the case of unusual circumstances please allow additional time.

 

on 4/10 - We wanted to reach out to you today to let you know that your order has been received by the Warehouse Procurement Team. We are pulling the item from stock and sending your item to our Quality Control Team today. You should receive an order status update email within the next 2 business days.

on 4/18 after learning it still had not shipped or know when it will ship, I asked for a refund and received a cancellation via the internet - We have received the information from the Order Cancellation Authorization Request you submitted at our site for INVOICE #XXXXXX.

Please allow us time to review and process this request. At this time, there is nothing further we need from you. We will be in contact if there is anything further we need from you regarding this request.
