If you purchase meat from this door to door company, please note a few things: you have 3 business days to return the meat, but the "store" is nothing more than a loading dock bay in an industrial complex. You will not be able to return the meat there unless someone's there and it is NOT a store so I doubt anyone is there during business hours. The business neighbor who is a Navy vet that sells and repairs rifles says they are only there when unloading the meat from trucks. I left my number on the phone number on the brochure, and no one returned my calls. So on the last business day on which I could make the return, I had to take things into my own hands. No body was at the business address. So, I decided to go straight to the source. I showed up at the registered owner's home address as listed on the company's LLC filing with the State of Florida (sunbiz.org) Found the husband and wife there and made them go back to the warehouse bay with me and take my meat back and give me back my $200. It's possible that this was all a misunderstanding....it's true that this was Christmas week, and maybe the manager was just gone most of the week. Maybe my salesman really was out of town. But if you have a strict return policy of 3 business days, then you can't do anything that jeopardizes a customer's ability to find you to return the product in time. You can't have their voicemail for even 2 days -- ESPECIALLy when your supposed store front is a warehouse and phone & address are the ONLY contact details you give. Also: the meat was $189 but the salesman said that he had to charge me an extra $11 since I was paying my credit card. I'm pretty certain that is contrary to the visa/MC service agreement with merchants. I did not get to try the meat since I returned it, but my husband said it looked awful & I trust my little grill master.
