I was the high bidder on their auction website and bought a tree chipper truck from a city in Ohio. As soon as the auction was over I paid for the truck, since the price was under $5,000 I paid with a credit card. I called the city numerous times to make arrangements to pickup the title and truck. I also booked a tow truck to have the vehicle towed. The tow truck operator began calling in addition to me to make arragements to have the truck towed. They screened our calls refused to answer any of our inquiries. I contacted govdeals.com by phone and by email numerous times and explained the seller refused to cooperate with the purchase, govdeals recommended I keep calling. After 3 weeks I sent govdeals another email putting them on notice I would cancel the credit card payment in 1 week(my credit card allows cancellation on a payment within 30 days). On the 28th day I cancelled the payment. The seller and govdeals did not respond and left me with no other choice, I was not paying for a vehicle I wasn't permitted to pickup. After I cancelled the payment govdeals locked my account despite my impeccible previous history with them of purchasing vehicles and disregarded the seller's refusal to cooperate with the transfer or pickup of the truck. Govdeals holds their sellers to a different standard than their buyers and could care less if you are a buyer.
