Government Careers Service Government Career Network Agency Claiming to provide leads for placement and testing of Government High paying jobs and careers North Hollywood, California

I was referred to this place by a friend who found this employment listing in the LA Times. So myself, a friend and his brother all decided to make the trip up to North Hollywood. When we arrived it was a dinky office with a woman named Mrs. Joy Obi at her desk in the main lobby office and a back office with her secretary. We were handed applications and sent to the back with a dozen other applicants all ranging from young to old and retired all there for the same purpose: to find a job in this dismal economy. After completing the application we were sent back to the front to see Mrs. Joy and she then said we were to take a "test" and pay a $10 service fee. I was completely taken off guard. There was no mention of a service fee in the LA Times ad nor did she mention that when we walked in her door. We pondered and decided to take this "test" because we drove so far. The test was bogus I caught many deliberate errors and answers that weren't correct which I brought to her attention and she said well you would find the closet answer in that case and I'm like wow you didn't instruct that. Still despite the trickery of the test I got a 79% which I guess in cases of many I faired better. Still she said we all did not pass and that we must go get a book and study for the real test. And from then on we would deal with her by mail and phone because when we were ready to take the test she would find the jobs in our zip code and send us this. Well that sounds all dandy but honestly it felt like a scam and I think Mrs. Joy Obi is from Nigeria which is a place where they are crooked and scam Americans. If she were honest with us she would have had a contract for us for this "service" fee because she made it clear she wasn't an employment agency and was happy to take our money but did not provide anything in writing. Secondly she said she would perform a small background check and I doubt that I didn't leave my SS# on that form. Lastly most of these jobs she claims to be able to get you leads on you can find yourself and apply free free free.
