Government Processing Center rip-off! Las Vegas Nevada

On 11/13/04, I was contacted by some men with middle eastern accent telling me that they were calling from the "Government pocessing center" and that I was selected by the government to recieve a grant of $8,000 because I had paid my taxes every year. They wanted to know the name of my bank and my account number, and they wanted me to pay them $257. They were going to send me a package to review and sign, and then send back to them. I refused to give them any information and started questioning them and they hung up the phone.

The next day they called me back wanting to know why I would turn down a chance to recieve $8,000 in exchange for $257. I told the man to take the $257 fee out of the $8.000 and send me the rest, and I requested that he give me his name, a number and a source that I can verified to see if this was for real, but he hung up the phone. That was when I went online and found this websit. I hope that these men get stopped.
