i am filing this report in reference to another report.Fortunatley I did my homework on this one.The company was selling a 1.25 acre lot in beautiful polk county fla. for $8900.00 all you had to do is bid on the downpayment and you could make monthly payments of $129.00 no qualifing and no credit check.Living in fla. Iwas aware of the river ranch land scam of the 70's and apparantly they are still at it.I checked with the polk county property appraissers andthe property value was assessed at $625.00 for the last 4 years. It is unbuildable, unaccessible and it is useless swamp land.I am surprised no one else has complained about this company they have been doing this for years.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Unjustly linked to disreputable companies

AUTHOR: Paul Sabesky - (United States of America)

Dear Anonymous,

Although we acknowledge your right to voice your opinion and applaud our government that gives you the right to do so, we cannot agree with your assessment and feel that it is unjust to link us with a land scam in the 70's. The land we sell in Polk County although not valuable enough to be considered by you, is really an investment for the future. People who live in the area know that there are plans to have the area developed. There is also an association that as a property owner gives you access to over 55,000 acres of recreational land that is used for hunting, fishing, and off road vehicles. For a hunter it is a sportsman's paradise. Right now it is prime hunting season for deer, and wild boar. We do offer monthly payments for those that cannot pay for the property outright, at our current published interest rate, and without prior credit approval or encumbrance! Purchasing the land without installments has always been made available to buyers with no prepayment penalties. The property is not reappraised until it is sold, so the assessed value is outdated.
