In August 2012, about 7:30pm a young black male came to our door asking for funds to help troubled youth.Using himself as an example and stating that he had been in jail and had been reabilitated and was trying to help others who have been in the same kind of trouble. H then asked for money to purchase books for bthose he was trying to help.
Never did he mention the name of the founder of the company and we did:nt think to ask. finally we agreed o give him a check, not cash, and he gave us a reciept from the organation with an address as East Point georgia. We went to East Point and found no office. We then went to the bPolice Hdqtrs. and asked for help. I was informed that the address was only a post office box. I then called the phone number listed and spoke to someone and was told that no office existed for that address and that he was in Detroit Mich. but he would find out our check which had never cleared the bank.
I have since been on the intrnet and am filing a police report for our area and also stopping payment on the check. We are also telling everyone we know if approached by these people not to give them any money . I am also reporting the to the better business beaureau...

There are more organizations like U.D.S but they are not U.D.S. We are not all the same contrary to belief. We at U.D.S pride ourselves in integrity. We want nothing more than to help more young individuals become successful in life and fulfill their dreams, as well as be able to provide for their families.
We are a For Profit organization. Our agents earn an honest commission and the public relations skills needed to progress in the business industry. We are not government funded.
I apologize for any inconvienence that you may have encountered due to this misunderstanding. Like any business in any industry there will be complaints. It's how these complaints are handled that seperate good businesses from bad businesses.

I thank you for your time ask that you consider removing our organization and our employers name from this post if anyway possible. Dr. McClain is an impecable man whose devotion to helping others created oppurtunities some may have never had the chance to experience. The jobs that he is creating help alot of people from all over the world and isn't fair to allow misrepresentation, misunderstanding or the wrong information stop or slow the wonders that Dr. McClain is doing in society.
