As other complaints have stated, they cold call you offering discounted cruises etc. I was interested at the time to look into vacations so we considered their offer. My wife doesn't have the needed documents to travel to the bahamas at the time so I asked for just a florida stay. No problem of course, they originally charged me $1200 to stay in the bahamas a week and cruise so many days with meal vouchers. Florida stay with a car rental would be less of course so they refunded around $600. We checked out the hotel options offered, both were rough looking Ramadas in orlando or fort lauderdale. We were going to cancel still in the first few days but Chantel offered a free upgrade to a better resort. After review we decided this was acceptable.

Fast forward a few months the deadline to schedule our vacation was near, so I worked out the details, plane tickets, times, places, etc. Grand celebrations or blue star cruises sold me the vacation but reservations (same company, different place I was told) set up the resort and car rental. At this point I was told the upgrade would cost an additional $315 even though there are clear notes that I was suppose to stay in an upgraded resort. They told me that the financial center would take care of any additional cost since they offered it. Well itenerary is emailed to me with extra detials such as the car rental will cost and addition $75- $100 and the room will cost an additional $15 a night plus surcharges (no one knows these amounts) and food vouchers will only pay for portions of the meals at the better resort.

10 phone calls later with no call backs between to two same company offices and managers, financial managers etc. no one offers any help and agree I shouldn't have paid the upgrade but no one will do anything about it. Same hotel is available with disney tickets etc for less. Basically I was forced into purchasing a vacation myself at cost probably more, but they all have told me its a great deal and be positive, so it must be :(!! To my best knowledge this has every warning of a scam there is. I would not recommend purchasing from this company, very good chances you will find a better deal without much effort. My one week Florida stay will cost me over $1300 at least without any entertainment.
