Grand Home Furnishings Excessive delivery charges on large orders Roanoke VA Virginia

I recently went into a Grand Home store in Summersville, WV. I had gone into the store and was making a major purchase of new furnitrue for our home. As the sale was being finalized I was told of the delivery charge I was going to have to pay. I thought it was stupid. Here I was spending several thousands and I needed to pay a lousy $99. for delivery. I told them I would not pay it. I told the sales assosicate, who then brought over the store manager. I got no where with them either. Then I met with one of the owners of this company. He said he was the owner, but I could not tell. He said that the poilcy was to pay for delivery. I told him that you can change that policy if you wanted to. We talked back and forth. In the end I did not have to pay for the delivery. However, when I did receive my furniture one of the chairs I purchased was the wrong chair delivered. I then called the store and was told that it would take a few weeks to correct. I decided then that I would never buy anything else from such a terrible company. They are bad. Avoid them. There are other stores in the area.
