The current child endangerment case against her is DIFFERENT than the neglect on my nephew - PARENTS PLEASE READ BEFORE LEAVING YOUR CHILDREN WITH THIS WOMAN!! 

This woman was in charge of watching a 1 year old baby, my nephew, for two days. My sister prepaid her for 2 weeks by giving her $200 dollars. By the end of the second day the baby was so neglected it looked as if he had a hot iron placed on his bottom, meaning he must have sat in a soiled diaper for most of the day. He literally has red, raised welts on his bottom. Prior to this the baby had no rash whatsoever. We have pictures as proof of the neglect on this child. Further, he was typically eating 6 jars of food per day plus regular milk. With Jan he only ate TWO jars and she continued to give him baby formula against the instructions of the mother, who had even provided a gallon whole milk. Further, my sister witnessed Jan's husband seemingly intoxicated as Jan described interactions that her husband had had with the baby. My sister did not want her seemingly intoxicated husband to interact with this little baby. She made the easy decision to never use their services again, and upon asking for a refund for the unused portion of the money, Jan told her she was a business woman and that she can't be expected to pay back the money because she has bills to pay. Mind you my sister is a single mother on welfare who now cannot afford to pay her rent. To take the money and the gallon of milk from my sister is one thing, we can get over it. But to neglect the child like that, possibly out of spite from him being pulled from her care a few weeks prior in favor of a daycare, it absolutely unacceptable. I thought you should know the type of person that is advertising on your website. In addition to all this, Jan actually had a case brought against her by parents of a child who she BIT in order to "teach the child a lesson" because the child wouldn't stop biting people. You heard right, this grown woman actually thought biting a child was an appropriate response. Please please caution any parents responding to this ad to beware of the dangers of childcare with this woman.

In addition to the current criminal child endangerment case against her, Janet has been a defendant in a total of 7 civil cases in Franklin Countys Municpal Court. In addition, Janet is a defendant in a total of 12 civil cases in Franklin County Court, cases brought against her by everyone from Creditors to the Ohio Department of Taxation. All but ONE is still active. Her husband Robert has three in Municpal court, and five since 2007 in county court, three still active. Further, it appears according to the Ohio Department of Commerce Janet was fined  $51,900 in 2009 for operating a rental business without a license:

JANET WINROD, Columbus, Ohio, was found by the Commission to have violated Revised Code 4735.02, unlicensed activity, and was accessed a civil penalty in the amount of $51,900.00. The Commission found that Ms. Winrod, offered, attempted, and agreed to negotiate the rental or leasing of a property, listed, or offered, attempted or agreed to list a property for rent or lease, managed or offered, or attempted to operate, manage a property, collected or attempted, or agreed to collect rental information for purposes of referring prospective tenants to rental units and charging the prospective tenants a fee, agreed to direct or assist in the procuring of prospects that was calculated to result in the leasing or renting of a property, advertised or held the company out as engaged in the business of managing, renting or leasing of real estate, while not licensed under Revised Code Chapter 4735.
This womans records suggest she severely lacks integrity, but most concerning is that as of 2/26/2013, STILL accepting children and still advertising on multiple websites as a child care provider!! Please be cautioned and consider taking your children elsewhere!!
