Grand View Marketing Inc. Grand View Resorts, Vacation Village Resorts, Vacation Comebacks, Take a Break Travel VERY HARD/IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ROOMS, LIKELY TO NOT GET SERVICES REDEEMED Fort Lauderdale Florida

I purchased what was called a "timeshare" vacation package for the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. It included a 3 night stay, supposedly usable anytime between June 8, 2012 to June 8, 2013. Buyers were given an choice to attend an OPTIONAL timeshare presentation during their stay, where they were asked to buy timeshare deals with Grandview Marketing/Take a Break Travel/Vacation Village Resorts, and could redeem back $124.00 worth of gaming/show/dining vouchers in Las Vegas, as an incentive for buyers to possibly make their hotel stay a "free" one. There is also a $50 extension charge if you wish to book rooms after June 8, 2013for a six month period, and no later than December 8, 2013. 

In late February 2013, I transferred my vacation package over to a friend who was planning a trip to Las Vegas, as she was hoping to get rooms on a weekend laying between the months of June-August (As I wasn't sure when I would go back and visit Vegas, so I thought my friend could put it to a better use). However, I soon got a voicemail from Grand View Marketing a week later, stating that the vacation package was transferred back to my name. I called my friend that night, and she had explained to me that she had tried giving them at least 20 different weekend dates during the summer, and was told that there were no weekend dates available, hence she requested to switch it back under my name. 

I decided to call myself on April 17, 2013, and see if I could get any rooms booked myself, and surely enough, I was told that there were no weekend rooms available during April-August 2013. I ended up opting for a weekday stay during June 17-20, since that was the earliest set of dates I could vacation out in vegas on a weekday, and paid the $50 extension fee, since it was a date passed my 1 year expiration date from the original vacation package purchase. I ended up cancelling my stay a few weeks later (Mid May 2013), as my friend had a family emergency, and did not want to go alone. 

Long behold, I called sometime in mid July 2013, hoping to book some rooms for, and was told that I could no longer redeem my services because I was no longer a full time worker. From what I signed under the vacation stay contract, it only stated that you must be a fulltime worker in order to qualify for purchasing the package. Upon asking for room availabilities, I was told that I did not qualify under the conditions and terms anymore, and that I could get back my $50.00 extension fee I paid, but not the $124.00 for my original vacation purchase, because it was already past my expiration date on my orginal purchase. Hence, I only got a fifty dollar refund, and not my full refund in which there WERE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE for any weekends, and were only available for SOME weekdays which promted me to pay for the extension in the first place. 

In short, I do not appreciate the fact that there were very few room dates available, and even though I could not redeem my services for a 3 nights/4 days stay at the Luxor Hotel, I was not granted a full refund.
