Grant & Weber has created many problems for me and I want to pass the word around about this shroud collections company to the public.

Grant & Weber called, called and called by harassed me as I asked them to cease communication as required under The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as it says under section (1) The term "Commission" means the Federal Trade Commission. ... the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer but they don't follow the rules they rather pick at you asking for money. When asked to stop communication, know your rights: Send a written certified letter by mail to them and save any messages or incoming calls from them. When you do, blog the information online and inform people about this Grant & Weber company. Informing people will let people know how shroud this company whether they've affected your credit report or not. If you see anything on your credit report that is misleading, please report this to the 3 credit major bureaus and contract a lawyer.

When I asked them to stop communication with me, they didn't do this and seeing them go above the law I had to report the matter to the US Attorney General's Office. If you have experienced the same thing don't let them and when they continue to harass, record all the phone calls then contact your local Congress representative or US Senator's office to make an appointment with them. You want the Federal government to contact the Federal Trade Commission about Grant & Weber .

I reported this agency to the Clark Howard show and discussed how crooked this Grant & Weber collection company on National radio.

With me Grant & Weber they tried to tell me about debt with no information when I questioned them as they didn't want verify the debt with me on issues I was concerned with. The issue is, it could be anybodies debt and if they have any number thinking it is you or not, they will continue to harass you, your grandma, girlfriend, brother, sister, cousin, your boss and more even it is not who you are. I found calls after calls on my voicemail for no reason. Asking you to call them immediately like you have a special gift waiting and you are supposed to call about it. The point is these people will argue over the phone with you and try to act like bad cops making threats about your credit report. They talk you too rudely and have no respect or politeness at all with you.

Also notify the FTC about harassment:
806. Harassment or abuse [15 USC 1692d]: A debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person in connection with the collection of a debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:
(2) The use of obscene or profane language or language the natural consequence of which is to abuse the hearer or reader.
(3) The publication of a list of consumers who allegedly refuse to pay debts, except to a consumer reporting agency or to persons meeting the requirements of section 603(f) or 604(3)1 of this Act.
(5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.
(6) Except as provided in section 804, the placement of telephone calls without meaningful disclosure of the caller's identity.

Also if anything is not you but they are harassing you anyway, report them in. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act says:
807. False or misleading representations [15 USC 1692e]: A debt collector may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt:
(2) The false representation of --
(A) the character, amount, or legal status of any debt; or
(6) The false representation or implication that a sale, referral, or other transfer of any interest in a debt shall cause the consumer to --
(A) lose any claim or defense to payment of the debt; or
(B) become subject to any practice prohibited by this title.

Beware of this Grant & Weber company for trying to rip you off for no reason. Collections companies are bad business and what they do is shroud to people. If you feel you have been a victim whether the debt is yours or not, report them in regardless. Remember what they tell you, don't believe these people, they are in the business to make money no matter what they do to you.

Harassment should not be tolerated
