Received a call from and unknown number. The foreign lady (which I could hardly understand) said I had received a $9000.00 grant. I asked her where from and she told me the Grant Department of the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington D.C.  She gave me a phone number--201-632-5913 and an ID number--TL1370.

She asked me what I might be interested in spending it on and I replied a vehicle. She also asked how I would like to receive it and I told her cash. She told me to call the number for instructions on how to receive my grant.

I called the number and he took my name and ID number. Told me I needed to go the the Walmart parking lot and call him and he would help me through the registration. I was to get a $200.00 money gram and he would tell me where to send it and I would pay the Walmart fee as well. He said I would then get my money as soon as they received their money notification and I would also receive my $200.00 back.

I called Walmart knowing in my heart and head it was a scam and they immediately was told it was a scam and just to ignore it.

David Morris (ext. 1007) called me back. I told him I had an uncle that worked for the police department and had some questions for him. My uncle told them not to call back anymore.

This is probably the 4th time they have tried this on me. Never fall for something to good to be true.
