I ordered from two "free grant information" sites, and without knowing it they were both run by Jared Pierce. I called to cancel both within 2 days of ordering the "free trial" because there was a membership charge if I failed to cancel. TOO BAD! The customer service number for both sites went to the same voicemail - which was never picked up by a person, and did not even give me the chance to leave my name and number before it hung up on me.
I had a friend that signed up for another one of this scam-artists' programs - "Grant Crisis" - same scam, same people, different name. She was ripped off the same way as well and is now working with the Attorney General in Oregon (her home state) to go after this joker.
DO NOT sign up for anything online until you check to make sure that it has nothing to do with Jared Pierce - the owner / operator / scam-artist that runs all of these sites. If you have been ripped off, it is easy to start the process of getting your money back. Call you credit card company and tell them that you wish to "Charge-Back" every charge made by this scumbag. Reasons to Charge Back include "not as described" which is exactly what best described what happened to me when I paid $1.95 for "free info" and then was prevented from cancelling prior to the free trial running out.

Since it appears that he is hiding behind a fake address in Nevada, I am writing him at the address in Utah as well as sending a copy to the Utah Attorney General. This kind of person needs to be prosecuted. What out for anything that takes you to a payment page like the following URL: ssl.encryptedprocessing.com - since this is also Jared Pierce owned scam site.
