Grants Are Easy Did not cancle My Rewards Club.Com membership as requeted, and charged my checking account Las Vegas Nevada

on or about 21 Jan 09 I signed up for the website Granst Are East. I was contacted by phone within 24 hours.

I was informed by the individual that I had to pay the shipping and handling charge of $2.95.

I was also informed that I would be signed up for a 7 day trail of My Club Rewards websit for free, after I had given my credit card number. If I did not cancel this within 7 days I would be charged a fee of $35.75; I agreed.

On 26 Jan 09 I called and cancled my membership and was given a control number (which I wrote down). Now on 17 Feb I was checking my bank account to discover I am being charged the $35.75. Over three weeks later.

I plan to call my bank first thing in the morning to stop the payment then call Grants are Easy folks back and tell to not charge my account again.

I was also called a few days after signing up for the my rewards club about another website with a free 30 day trial.

As of today 17 Feb I am still trying to contact them to cancle that one.
