This "company" called and offered filing for a $5000 government grant for $200 and a $49 'processing fee.' Like a desperate fool I eventually accepted, they took my information, and about 10 days later the money was taken from the account.
I called and said I wanted my money back because I hadn't received the "information package" I was supposed to receive, and they convinced me to wait a few more days. The wait was weeks instead, and when I called back, 866-416-0639 and 800-801-5468 were both reported as busy and the grantsforyou.com website could no longer be found.
The whole thing is very embarrassing and frustrating. I've never felt so stupid in my life.
