Grasmere Red Lion hotel - Chria Copeland 'Manager' Lies, more lies. Internet

I'm wondering when Chris Copeland, so called manager of the Red Lion hotel, will get it through his thick skull that one day or another, you just have to stop lying to people. His problems began when staff began to dislike him because of his lies. He then set up lies about those staff members to have them fired, by fuelling the lies with more lies to the hotel owner, Mr. taylor (who knows only what Copeland tells him regarding business) to obtain the backup he needed to see the sackings through. When the fired staff took them to court, he lied even more to bail himself out, the staff won the court cases and still Chris Copeland lies to people telling them that he in fact won the court cases. If he weren't so desparate and conniving i would probably have to laugh, but one has to almost feel sorry for somebody like this... Where did it all go wrong?

Grasmere is a small place and people believe what they're told by this idiot. So allow me to set thigs straight: Mr. Taylor was set to lose two court cases based on Copeland's lies to such an extent that he settled out of court. That's right. Nobody even made it to court. Taylor would have lost tens of thousands in damages fighing a battle based on what is essentially the bull**** of a borderline sociopath, so he decided to call it quits at the first hurdle, save a load of money, save face, and bow out gracefully.

I just thought the people of Grasmere may like to know the truth & especially have the unfairly dismissed workers have their names cleared, i believe that, in such a small town, things like reputation matter.

When i spent my time in Grasmere (I spent 6 months working at a popular 5* hotel & restaurant as manager myself) i heard Mr. Copeland was telling staff in the reception in a less than hushed tone, about a "secret family" which Mr. Taylor had somewhere in Asia. If memory serves, it was Thailand. Taylor would frequently tell people that he was holidaying to America when in reality he was seeing his Thai wife / girlfriend and children on the continent. Whether his wife / girlfriend in Blackpool knows of this is up for debate. However, if this is a lie, it again came directly from Chris Copeland. I know staff who can verify the fact Chris Copeland was indeed the one telling people about this. And if it is true, then i'm just saying what i know i heard. The phrase, "Don't shoot the messenger" sprigs to mind.
