great east home and shore llc poor customer service and failure to stand behind products/services provided wakefield New Hampshire

I purchased a $1200 1100# boat mooring from great east docks with a verbal guarantee from the owner it would not move with my 19' lake ski boat attached. Needless to say my boat dragged the mooring 30' down the lake during a summer storm. I alerted great east docks that the mooring he had installed was now in front of my neighbors house last fall. The owner assured me the situation would be remedied in the spring and that I was first on the list. It was now june 22 and after 7 attempts and emails to the owner, he finally agreed to move the mooring for a mere $1000 fee. The general public needs to understand that when you deal with great east docks proceed with caution. Upon researching other companies I found the same services provided to be extremely less money. Do your homework is my advice.
