Great Expectations misrepresented their services to me in a nearly three-hour sales pitch. They also offered for me to call my credit card company to raise my credit limit, or charge the service to multiple cards. 



When I asked if there were members my age and in my city, the answer was a definitive and resounding "yes". I found out in less than three weeks using the service this was not the case. There are few members in my age range, even fewer that meet my qualifications and nearly none that live in my area. 



However, my biggest problem is with the hidden fees. After paying more than $1,400 after my initial sales meeting, I went back for the photo shoot. At this time I was told all members sign up for an additional service and all future required photo shoots will cost extra. Under the understanding I would need this additional "member selection tool" I paid another $1,200. 



I requested a refund and the company said they do not offer refunds and I should have remembered initialing a paper during the first sales meeting that said this.
