green dot Walmart money card Unauthorized charge to my card they refuse to fix! over $600 stolen from me! Midlothian Nationwide

I never gave direct TV authorization to charge my card. Period. Should be no other discussions. They did not have my permission to charge my card. The amount charged is not the correct amount, the fact that I do buskness with a merchant and use my debut card DOES NOT legally allow them to store my card info and use it for whatever amounts they chose to charge.. I have pulled all money from my 3 different money cards and will not do businesses with green dot until this is resolved. Beware!! Do not use green dot!!! They care NOTHING about permissions to charge but care more about the.big merchants... how can they allow direct tv to charge my card without me saying it was OK.??

Green Dot is not responsible for the delivery, quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of goods and services that you purchase from others with a Card. All such disputes must be addressed to the merchants from whom the goods and services were purchased. Based on what you have stated, if you have done business with Directv, willingly provided them your card information and had an agreement with them, we can't dispute the charges.

 You signed a contract with them. In that contract you gave them express permission to pull from whatever account you have. If you paid for your services with your prepaid card then that is the card they are going to charge you for the Early Termination Fee. You MAY get some of your money back for the equiptment but you wont be getting the ETF back. This is NOT a ripoff. This is YOU not reading what you have signed. Had you full read the paperwork you were given when you started your cable services, you would have seen the HEFTY ETF.

This is what happens when you just sign your name to a contract WITHOUT reading it. This is NOT a ripoff or a Scam by DirecTv. This is a sour grapes post because yet again the consumer has made assumptions without information. This IS what happens when you cancel your service contract with almost ANY company that provides a month to month service. You ARE under a contract and they WILL hold you to the terms of that contract including the early term fee.

You need to go back and really read the terms of service. It clearly states that if you term your services that they have express permission FROM you to pull what you owe from the card/account on file.
