In or around 2009, 4 windows were installed for 2 bedrooms in my home. The windows were not installed properly. This was determined after both bedrooms were gutted out and it was found that the wood was rotted under all 4 windows. My two young boys have been sharing a room with me for almost 2 years now due to the mold problem and I have finally saved up the 5K needed to renovate their rooms. After finding out the source of the mold, I called Allentown Window Pro's and found they are no longer in business. I was referred to James, at Green Eco Solutions. James advised me that his company is handling the warranty issues for Allentown Window Pro's. I explained the situation to James, that at this time, I am not looking for compensation for the damage caused from the faulty installation but that I request the windows are properly reinstalled so that I do not have future interior home damage. James was immediately "stand-offish" and advised I should not believe my contractor - that he will send his "expert" who will make the final decision. After a "no-show", the expert named TOM showed up for pictures. Tom advised there is a definite situation with the window installation which can be seen from the outside of the windows. The water sits on the ledge and goes in and underneath the flashing. Today, I followed up with James from Green Eco Solutions. He advised he will get paid from the "fund" for sending his expert to my home but is not using money from this fund to repair the warranty issue. Regardless of what the expert told me, James feels there is no relatedness between the initial installation and water coming in at the window sill. James was insulting while I remained calm and courteous. James even threw insults and claimed I am uneducated. Meanwhile, I just want my windows fixed so that my boys can breathe safely. I have photos.

I research a little the company called Green Eco because they called my wife and said they would come to our house and do an energy audit for free. we asked what they were selling, and they swore they would not sell anything but give us a 8 page audit and all they hope for is if we want to do any work in the future we "think" of them and they would get us some rebates etc... The guy who showed up started his sell pitch right away and after we were not duped into ordering anything, calls the office (it was well past 9pm at that point) and speaks to his sales manager and they went down over $8000 just like that. So I researched this company and read all of the reviews and see this guy Joseph stoffey lie thru his teeth like we can't find the information about him and his company?
I am just going to put some links here and you can judge on your own...
Joseph stoffey says he has nothing to do with "window Pros" humm.....

I did not have a mold issue, but, I am surprised to continuously read there is no connection between the two companies. So I needed to respond. On the contrary, a gentleman named Brian was at my home today and informed me that Green Eco Solutions had picked up the warranty coverages for Window Pros, had precise knowledge of how the sales pitch went that I experiences from Window Pros right down to the last detail. I find it amazing that all of those details were present, yet no connection between the companies but coverage of repair warranties. His information was so accurate it was like he had been in the living room 12 years ago when "Joe" did the sales pitch. Call me a skeptic, but after reading all I have today with all of the common threads and themes of compaints, I will be giving some serious thought with whom I do business. I also called "Chris" and informed him as I was not in the position to do business, the credit info from Experian would not be necessary, especially since they do not have my SS#. He told me they run this from name and address contracted through another company. He stated the credit check had already been run, would be mailed to me and that there would be an accompnaying letter that the information would be destroyed. I am putting this in writing in this public forum should there be any identity theft issues resulting from not having given explicit permission to obtain a credit check, as no financing or business agreemnt had been made, merely the setting up of an appointment to explore services. dp

Not the same company

Joe Stoffey owner of Green Eco Solutions claims that Window Pros, Gutter Magician, Econ Solar and whatever other company names he has under his umbrella is not the same company. It is! This guy and his partners in other states change names regularly to avoid being pin pointed as a bad contracting company. They have multiple companies under the same roof, go ahead and try to contact someone who will help you with an issue without being sent on a wild goose chase or to a ring that is never answered.
Their separate number for anyone wanting a quote is always answered! Solar panels for $18/watt! Get with it, going rate is between $5-$6...nothing special about their panels. High pressure sales has made this snake a rich man. They have no values, morals, or good old fashioned work ethic, and this is why I could no longer work for these people. His sister, brother, wife, and whoever else in their family that works there, have no shame. It is disgusting what they do to customers.
When I finally figured out what they were up to, I could not make that old, tired, deceiving sales pitch to another innocent customer. I felt so bad that I had to apologize to those people for leading them to believe that they made a good purchase. I truly do not know how that Joe Stoffey character looks himself in the mirror. It's a shame that there are businesses out there like this one, Green Eco, or Green Home, or Window Pros, or Econ Solar, or whoever the heck you're going to be next!

Wrong Company

Dear Consumer
As you stated Green Eco Solutions was asked to perform some service for Allentown Window Pros. I am very sorry for your issues with your windows but this was not our company. We have since stopped doing any service at all for that company due to issues like this. I will find out what manager spoke to you and address him if he did not handle this correctly but we are not the company who did your work. So in our opinion we felt the damage may not have occured as you feel it did. So if the manager told you that and it became a bit argumentative I apologize. No one wants to hear that thier problem cannot be fixed. Again this is simply our opinion. You can contact other companies for theirs. But including our name in this RIP OFF report is not fair or correct. The work, warranty and your isssues and problems you have with Window Pros should in no way be tied to Green Eco Solutions. I hope you can find some resolution this this matter. I am very sorry we could not help and actually we regret taking on some of these service issues because our name gets muddied.
Sincerely
