Green Tree AKA Conseco Financial ripoff in my opinion committing deliberate violation of numerous laws Saint Paul Minnesota

Had two accounts with conseco. One was sold in 1999 but coonseco refused to release liability. Dec. of 2001 Chapter 7 bankrupcy was filed and both accounts were extinguished by Federal Court order. After bankrupcy was discharged in Mar of 2002, Conseco sold the account and is still actively and aggressively reporting and attempting to collect. In addition they are reporting this information in my credit records.

The resulting damage from this flagrant violation is having to pay about 30,000.00$ of outrageous interest and other fees in excess of even sub-standard rates to be able to afford even a small home, as well as doing without many basic items needed to live and listening to my wife cry just about every night.

For six months I have continued to call Conseco weekly they keep saying to call the credit reporting companies and file a dispute. When calling the credit reporting agencies I am told that they won't talk to me that I have to correspond with conseco and have them correct thier report... Sounds familiar?

I am interested in participating with any group to bring Class action and any other administrative action against these dirt bags. In addition I recommend filing complaints with the FTC at 1-877-FTC-HELP in washington or contacting them through www.ftc.gov. Also your State district attorneys office may be interested in helping you. This is also an election year scream loud and clear to your politians that you want them to stop the politics and address some real issues.
