Green Tree Or Green PointMortgage ripoff Memphis Tennessee

To Whom It May Concern:

First of all I'm writing this report for my uncle. He can't see how to read or write he's seventy-five years old. And I'm trying my best to help him if I can.

Green Tree started the same thing last year about this time, stating that my uncle had gotten so far behind in his payments. Which he was in delinquent with them .

But he got all that caught up and they started him off with a new start in January 2005, now they're saying the same thing again.

I went to my Uncle's house to gather his receipts and he didn't have all the current ones, he only had the one's for the end of the year, he didn't have Jan.-May 2005. (he misplaced them).

But he stated that he went to the Postal Service where he stay at and they filled them out for him for those months he said he paid for, so that should be on record with the Postal Service.

Also on some of his receipts that he has proof for has different places where he had sent money to with different account numbers and different cities.

I called and spoke with Clayton Borderx; he's the one that handles my uncle's account. While trying to discuss the account with him, he refused to do so stating that he had already spoken to my uncle and cousin the day before.

I asked him How could you let an account go so long without payment for the months you say he's behind in and yet you still accepted the payments for June through December 2005.

He stated do you have twelve receipts in front of you? I said no but that doesn't mean that he didn't make his payments. I told him that my uncle had sent some of his payments to different places that's still affiliated with Green Tree and he mentioned Green Point.

I told him I had just read something on the Internet about that company saying they was a big rip-off. And then things started to rise up.

He said who do you think you hollering at? I told him I wasn't hollering at him, he said he didn't have the time to go through this account again.

He even took it in his on hands and called my cousin and told him that I cursed him out which I didn't. I just think that these people are getting over on my uncle.

There's nobody going to keep a sequence of missing the same payments intentionally. especially when they went through the same thing the year before.

Now he's saying that my uncle is oweing at about $2000. But these are the different account numbers that he has on his account.
