Thad Peterson of GreenTech Design Build (aka DST Homes and Renaissance Realty) was contracted to build a home for 1.4m plus builder's fees for the Fleming family.  The contract was first breached when DST (GreenTech) failed to obtain a performance bond even though obtaining the bond was a requirement of the contract.

A project analyst company was hired to ensure DST's work was done in accordance with plans and specifications.  DST (GreenTech Design Build) refused to communicate with the company, or the Flemings.  In addition, the work that DST did complete was done improperly.  This includes vital areas of construction such as the foundation and sub-rough plumbing.

With its shoddy work on the verge of exposure, DST wrongfully and unilaterally terminated its contract and walked off the job around June 21, 2007.

The Fleming's sued DST Homes (GreenTech Design Build aka Renaissance Realty) and won a judgement against them for $2,267,902.98
