SCAM > Radhika Mallick - Los Angeles - GripTruckGirl.com - GRIP TRUCKS FOR SALE
I purchased a Truck from the woman who runs this company recently. She seemed to be very pushy in selling me the truck, and that arrose suspiciton on my part. She said that the truck ran great, new transmission, and that she would WARRANTY THIS TRUCK for 90 DAYS.
Not even 7 days after the purchase the radiator cracked and 2 days after that the Transmission blew. After having a mechanic look at it, it was rebuilt terrible, and there was a front end collision that was not listed on the title.
I tried to call her at 818.232.2967 and she would not answer my calls or return them. I tried from other number, and should would pick up and when she knew it was me she would hand up immediatly.
What she said "I will guarentee this truck under warranty for 90 days" = Cracked Radiator, and Blown Transmission in less than 9 days later = Her not answering the phone, her not returning calls..
She bailed on our agreement, and then proceeded to take no responsibility for falsifying a automobile title. THIS WOMAN IS A COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT BUY GRIP TRUCKS FOR SALE FROM THIS WOMAN! GRIP TRUCK GIRL IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!! Complete SCAM, and a lack of Integrity
Radhika Mallick is the OWNER of this bulls*** company. SHE has no integrity and should be subject to such fraudlent activity.

I feel that I, as a 2 time buyer of trucks from Grip Truck Girls clients that I should say something to those that might want to consider her services.
First and formost is that on neither occasion Radika never once represented herself as the owner of either of the vehicles ( class 8 trucks) that I have purchased. She gave me the contact info for her clients once she recieved permission from them to do so. I never negotiated pricing with her only the owners. I never sent her money as that is between her on the equipment owners. She never offered any type of warranties. I have found her to be honest, upfront and commited when looking for gear for us.
We have spent several hunded thousand dollars with her clients and will continue to use her services with our present and upcoming gear requirements.

Is Grip Truck Girl a bonded auto dealer or bonded broker???

Hello,
I want to express my sympathy with your experience with "Grip Truck Girl",
Just so you know, it is against the law to sell commercial vehicles (other than your own that you've used for commercial reasons), unless you are a licensed commercial auto dealer or licensed broker. California is very strict about these laws to protect the buyer.
There are huge penalties for breaking this law, and if "Grip Truck Girl" is not licensed as an auto dealer or a commercial licensed auto broker (both have to be bonded for millions of dollars), she is has violated the law, and you very well may have recourse.
I would recommend you talk to an attorney. This is not a theory. The reasons for the requirement of these licenses for selling commercial vehicles is for the protection of the buyer, both financially, and regarding safety-related liability.
She may have to give you your money back. California Law demands total disclosure of any problems with a commercial vehicle being sold. It will also involve the owner of the truck she sold to you. That party is guilty as well. It sounds like you did not get full disclosure of the vehicle's condition. You were left out exposed to the elements when you drove off with that truck.
Please do not lose heart!
I have seen her listings, and she puts the pricing right on the listings, which is against the law unless she is actually licensed. Unless she owns the truck, she cannot be involved in even the pricing or sale of that truck. Only the owner can sell you the truck. If she were a real professional, licensed dealer or licensed broker, she would not have dumped the truck in your lap the way it sounds like she did. She cannot even buy the truck with the intention of selling it unless she is licensed. That is one of the roles of a professional auto dealer.
Get all your paperwork together with checks, receipts, any documents she gave you, and take it all your paperwork and speak with an attorney. Find a good attorney who is educated in auto selling requirements as well as the California Laws. You may have to talk to 2 or 3 of them, but you will find one. Don't get discouraged.
You could also speak with a truck dealership where you may get a reference to a good attorney. This kind of illegal behavior really brings down the whole auto industry. You may find you have recourse. I bet you do. It will also get the erroneous business that ripped you off, "off the streets". It may also help someone else who unwittingly will follow in your footsteps.
This is not legal advice. this is common sense coming from a fellow-consumer who happens to know the law from a layman point of view.Get up and do it! You will forgive yourself.
Best,
RipTideGrip
