The company is a SCAM.  The radio station (Clear Channel) in Austin allowed this commercial to play on their airways that claimed to provide a $1000.00 "gift card" for groceries "accepted at all major grocery chains" in order to allow their company to see what consumers are buying.  I up front asked the guy (who claims his name is Everett) if this was a scam.  He told me "no" and that the radio regulators wouldn't let that company advertise over the radio station if it was.  At that point, since I thought this was "highly regulated", I decided to participate in this "survey".

I was led to believe that I would be given a gift card worth of $1000 to purchase groceries.  There were also 3 other programs that they wanted me to participate in that supposedly allowed you to gain more coupons for even more saving on many other types of purchases.  I had to pay for all of these programs, but for the 3 additional programs, I could cancel my membership within 15-30 days of signing up.  I was told I would receive all of the information in the mail within 7 days (which would then give me 8-23 days left to cancel these memberships).  I didn't even receive that documentation until after 15 days of signing up.  They charged my credit card these outrageous fees.  I called them to tell them I wanted to cancel and get my money back because I didn't even receive the materials within the specified time.  At first they were reluctant, but then agreed.  I still haven't received that refund.

Additionally, the original program in which I thought I was signing up for ended up being some type of coupon based program that makes you pay to have these coupons sent to you.  You have to "order" them and then pay a 10% fee of what the coupon is worth (EVEN AFTER I HAD TO PAY $20 TO SIGN UP FOR THIS RIDICULOUS PROGRAM).

I called the company back and told them I wanted my money back.  "Everett" rudely and condescendingly said "no" and I told him I was going to call the regulators to tell them about this scam.  He then proceeded to ask me who the regulators were and if I was referring to "G Dog" because those were the only "regulators" he knew of.  I am not only disgusted that someone would do this, but that the radio stations would let this be endorsed through their stations, especially Clear Channel in Austin.  They won't refund my money at all.

This company is a scam.  Something needs to be done.
