I bought an Alien Scooters from GS Motorworks in April 2006 for $1,399. From the very beginning I had problems with the Scooter. The horn didn't work, the gas gauge didn't work. In June, at only 600 miles on the scooter the back wheel locked up. It was discovered that a screw fell out on the gear box causing the gear oil to drain out. I was about 10 miles away, needless to say I had to get it towed, which cost a lot of money.

My scooter was still under warranty when it stopped working; GS Motorworks promised to send parts, for the last 6 months I have called every week sometimes twice a week, and I have sent over 100 emails.

Finally I told GS Motorworks that if I don't receive the parts or a new scooter this week, I will take this to an Attorney as well as the Better Business Bureau. November 16th the parts finally came, (after 6 months of waiting) unfortunately the scooter still will not run, the wheel is still locked.

I have emailed GS Motorworks about a refund and or a new scooter but they return my emails unanswered.

December 18, 2006 the Scooter, (road bike) was returned to GS Motorworks. On December 31, GS Motorworks told me that the scooter was damaged when the shipping company dropped it off. They also told me that two of their mechanics said that the scooter was involved in a wreck.

First of all the scooter was never wrecked, it stopped running when it was under the warranty; I have been dealing with this company since June 2006 with no positive results. They are telling me that the state of the bike affects my refund and their policy is NO returns.

GS Motorworks said that once the scooter was returned they would process my refund, but they have not. Now GS Motorworks not only has the scooter they also have my money, $1,399. All I am asking for is my refund.

Will the motor turn over? Motor scooter or motorized scooter?

If the oil drained from the engine and the wheel locked up it means the engine has siezed. Is that what you mean? Depending on the design, the transmission and engine could share a crankcase. If that's the case write this POS off and buy a new scooter that's made in Japan instead of China.
