Hackensack University Medical Center Awful, Incorrect Billing, Lazy , They take months to correct incorrect billing then try to send you to collection Hackensack New Jersey

 My husband had an operation in December.  The billing was incorrect because  Dr. Davidson said that one of the visits was a follow up and there was no charge.    We called the medical billing group for the doctor which is Hackensack University Medical Group. We paid 1/2 the bill and they told us not to pay anything else until they straightened out the way their INCORRECT billing.  We called in February to see if it was straightened out.  They told us not to pay anything again until they corrrected a simple error.  Would you believe it takes 3 months to take a $35 charge off?  On April 10, 2014 they called and told us it was fine and just pay $117 which we did.  Well today on April 25, 2016 we get a notice from some type of collection agency.  Could you believe these people?  They are lazy, terrible at billing and just bad news.  They had no right to do this.  The collection people said no problem.  We will make a notification on your account.  Tommorrow we call them and tell them off.   Try to stay away from Hackensack Medical Group.  The Hackensack University Hospital is great.  They work out any problems but the Medical Group of doctors is full of incompetent people who don't know what they are doing.  They tell you one thing and do something else.  I would like to make a complaint against them and I will also be taking further action against Hackensack University Medical Group.
