That is because they are instant messaging, taking personal phone calls, working on other cases while you're sitting there face to face in their office.  You're lucky if you get their full attention for 10 minutes. I finally had to call Lizz on it one day. They will tell you stuff while you are in their offices, and then deny they ever said it. I even had Alex go as far as say that I am lying about something he or Lizz said in the office one day.  Lizz came to a deposition completely unprepared as she had not read the background of my case before the depo.  Alex lost a part of my case as he was simply "out lawyered".  I would write emails to them and/or call them and never hear back from them. Then, I would get a charge on my bill for $45 for reading an email they never answered.  I also went back to prove that I never got an answer from them, so the bookkeeper took off the charge. She told me it would be a good idea to go back through my two years of this case to check all my charges as it may have happened more than once. I did eventually win my case, but it was because they got lucky and not due to their expertise. I will not recommend this firm to anyone I know.  These type of lawyers are why lawyers have a bad reputation.  Oh, and the final straw was when I told Alex that I needed one more thing from them to finish this case, and his response was, "That will cost you $700."  I did it myself for $3.  I am glad to be done with this people so much that I didn't even go through my two years of charges. The sooner they got out of my life, the better.
