The dealer sales me a car and I put down $4600.00 for a $17,000 car. I am driving for two weeks, they come back and say, they can not finance me and they want the car back or the loan paid in full. Mind you I had some identity theft on my credit report. I make more than enough money, as they obviously felt, and now they want the car back. They tell me this about 3 weeks after. I come and give them a check for $10k plus the down, and I try to work with the difference, which is about $5k. Tell them I have $2500 also, which total $12500.oo. So I need another $2500.00 to pay off the car. They tell me they do not want the car back. They have not gotten, the car as of yet....to be continued.......scum dealer.

It's called SPOT delivery

and IMO it should be illegal in all 50 states.
If you're interested, there are many rebuttals whereas this "spot delivery" is explained and who to write to in your state to get it outlawed. Just do a search for "spot delivery" on ROR.
I hope you get it worked out.
Also, FYI identity theft entries that indicate debts/collections that are NOT yours can be removed from credit reports about you. Post here if you need information about how to force the CRAs to clean up your credit history.
Good luck.

If they cannot get you financed and you don't qualify for any type of Bank financing, then you can give them the vehicle back and get your money back, UNLESS they had you sign paperwork that says you will GUARANTEE financing of your own, which is highly unlikely!!!
Contact a Lawyer & ALL LOcal News Stations!
If any of your documents were altered or FORGED by the Dealer- CALL THE FBI IMMEDIATELY and report it!!!!!
