Hannah Import USA Blatant Fraud and Misrepresentation Miami, Florida

BUYER BEWARE!!!! If anyone comes across this report before buying from this company, please look elsewhere. Their ebay rating is crap, because we discovered they had a bidder going against us to jack up the price of the car, and that bidder ended up "winning." The next day they contacted us and said the buyer backed out, and we could purchase the car. THAT is how they are getting their rating.

We were purchasing a 2011 BMW X3 and having it shipped. Our credit union sent the $36K to this seller and it was down hill from there. When we received the vehicle the check engine light was on and it was hesitating. Luckily it's still under warranty through BMW, so it's not as tragic as some of the other buyers we have seen on here. 

They described the vehicle as "excellent condition" with no visible dents or dings. Well, that was false. Even at night you could see some very deep scratches on the rear bumper and several clearly visible dents around the car. They also claimed the car wasn't smoked in (and this was a big deal because my daughter was allergic, which I made clear to them). FALSE! It has been smoked in.

The blatant fraud came when we discovered 2 of the options were not on the car as advertised. It does not have a homelink system ($800 value) or satellite radio ($550 value). They kept claiming we only needed to subscribe to satellite, but as BMW has given us proof, we have to get it installed because the car is not equipped with satellite.

After bringing all of this to their attention the very next day after receiving the car that night, we asked to rescind the purchase or have them pay for the missing options. Both have been refused, and this company didn't even have us sign any paperwork that was suppose to be overnighted. Only after we needed out states registration form completed, they were blackmailing us to either sign off on their documents or they wouldn't complete the forms. It cost us extra to have it titled, but luckily we had this done.

We have filed consumer complaints with the Florida Dealer licensing, DMV, and ebay. When you are dealing with Shawn expect to hear, "get over it" or "so what if it doesn't have those options" or "you won't get a penny out of me" or "oooh, I'm shaking" when you talk about being ripped off. Do yourself a favor, buy elsewhere!
