Purchased a new 19 inch Hanns G Monitor on eBay with the fallacy it would have a 3 year warranty as boldly advertised by the company.

Worked well for two years and the power failed. Called Hanns to send it in and they tell me they will not honor the warranty only because it was purchased on eBay.

It has a serial number just like the rest of the monitors and they know exactly who they let sell it. Nice way to snivel out of your warranty.

Be Ware Consumers
All new Monitors being sold on eBay apparently do not have any factory warranty at all.
