Here are the inside unsolved on going complaints: wind blowing in windows from outside, Ice and water on the inside of glass, frames, caulking and window sills. Missing trim around all inside lower windows, around glass and frame. Discovered from all windows an air leakage, water, ice and dirt trapped between glass and frame, noticeable results of energy loss, and unhealthy living.

Here are the outside unsolved on going complaints: all outside screens do not slide all the way up into upper frame track. some of the felt seals around the window frames look like there going to fall off when opening and closing the windows. when it rains you can see water and dirt trapped between glass and frames, from inside of windows looking out. missing trim around all outside upper windows, around glass and frames. outside flashing trim around windows is uneven as well as jay channel, noticeable results of energy loss, and unhealthy living.

Some other problems need to be addressed. The bathroom tint is different then all the other window tints. If you go outside and look in from all the windows, the bathroom is a lighter. All the other windows are a darker tinted. There is proof that we are loosing energy, and air because if we put a piece of plastic up to the master bedroom window you can see the plastic blowing in and out.

The master bedroom window bottom had rotted wood and they insisted that it was OK, I even offered to pay more money to make sure the job was done right, to prevent having to redo windows in a sooner date. Yet they still insisted that it was alright to have the bad wood around any of the windows. A guy even came out and offered to caulk around the new glass and frame were all the dirt and water is getting in. We refused to put caulking on new windows, putting caulking outside on new glass windows is just going to turn yellow and become a nasty eyesore. The new windows we intended to get were to help update and better our home. Not to be detrimental to our health.

Hansons brought us the wrong windows and I stopped them and told them to put it back on the truck. That wasn't what i ordered. They told us they would sue us, and make us pay for the windows even if they didn't put them in our house. We even went to All Side because Hansons said they made the windows and to talk with them so we met with Karen from All Side even she said it sounds like there not made right, she said "it sounds like they weren't made correctly, to have water and dirt stuck in the groves of the windows." and that we should contact Hansons. We contacted Hansons again..so instead they wanted to patch up the windows with caulking rather than giving us what we asked for.

I would like to add our over all experience with Hansons windows they were very rude about everything, promised a product that was not delivered. lied about the $1,500 government rebate that you only get a small portion of. sold us on a sample demonstration and did not deliver the ones we chose. Now i am going to hold them to their promises i expect them to replace all of our windows, with the ones that were made right and installed correctly or refund the money that we have paid and are still paying them. I think this should fall under a product liability lawsuit.

This has already been just about a year now dealing with these guys.
