Happiness Is Pets Steve Jake Kruse Puppy Mills Pet Shops Stores Sell sick puppies, inhumane environment, only profit, no TLC, kill them off if not needed, help stop this cause!!! West Point, Iowa Nationwide

I purchased a Weimaraner from the Happiness is Pets store in Arlington Heights after my dog fell in love with her and they played for half an hour. Sadly I did not know the background of the store and that they were from puppy mills, so now I want to set it right.

My pupp had Kennel Cough from the very start, was very thin, and her hip bones stuck out horribly, and looked like she had weak ankles and was VERY bowlegged, and had an infection on her tail. She was in horrible condition, and I felt very bad for her, so we took her home. Not only was the dog sick, but the woman who sold and her to us was Amanda, and for one she lied to her manager, but the next day found out she posed as the manager to other people just two days before we were there.

We took Calisto to the vet multiple times... Free vet visit included, so it must be a cheap clinic. Which it seems it is. The vet looked like he just got out of school and was just practicing, always thinking of what to say and murmured at least 50 times "uhm.....". He always said that she was fine.

Overall, the pup was a mess, she was not fine at all. Inbreeding caused her legs to grow crooked, have mild hip dysplasia at THREE months, and infections all over.

Long story made short... No more pet stores for me. I am working on getting all information together so I can set the poor dogs at the puppy mills free and get them to good homes. My goal is to get people like Steve Kruse arrested, or at least MAJORLY fined for what inhumane actions they perform. Pet stores should be closed down, because there are way too many healthy and friendly pups in shelters and rescues waiting for a good home instead of a fatal injection.

Post to this if you are interested in helping hopeless dogs getting out of dangerous wire cages and help them to homes they can be petted and loved. Help shut down ALL puppy mills and pet stores, so no dog has to live only 5 years before they die in pain. I will try to get all of us together, gather evidence of breeder's inhumane ways, and the dog's painful lives.
Post, and in time I will publish a site here that we should spread, make flyers and hang them up everywhere, spread our cause and spread hope for the dogs.
