Do not use this company mobile detailing company. I found out about this company on Groupon. After speaking to the owner Michael Johnson, we set-up an appointment for full detailing service. Told him about the vehicle I have and he stated he was very familiar with my type of vehicle. We set an appointment for 2pm, he arrived around 4pm. The issues…..After everything was completed, it was time to review the work. My car was just purchased. It was already cleaned, just wanted a more professional look and feel. The outside looked the same even with a supposedly wax. The inside is where it gets interesting. My center console from the gearshift to the cup holder was severely damaged. The paint was rubbed off by whatever chemical solution he used. He first said “Oh, it wasn’t like that when you bought it”? Then he stated where I bought the car from had previously painted the vehicle. When I showed him the paint removal on my dashboard trim all around to the side of the doors, also the damage to my leather seats, he stated he just needed to buy paint from the auto supply store and everything would look good as new. By the way, he was looking for payment of more than what he quoted me (red flag) and I wouldn’t pay him until the damage was fixed, obviously. He said “Oh, that’s for sedans, you have a suv”. I jolted his memory on our conversation and miraculously he remembered.

He came back with the paint – bottom line, they did more damage. The sprayed over my gear shift lettering. The lettering is melted and plastic fused together. They sprayed the leather around the center console and he told me that they couldn’t fix it and to take it to a dealer. After that statement, his exact words were “My Bad, you live and you learn. Now I know not to use that spray anymore”. After he left, I realized that he sprayed my radio controls which are all digital. I called him immediately and stated we needed to work something out on repairs. He stated he had a guy and would get back to me about his schedule. A few days went by, nothing. I contacted him and said that I would take it to a body shop for repair estimates. Well after visiting and calling several body shops, none of them could paint only replace the center console. I advised Michael Johnson of the repair estimate and from there all I get is dismissed. He even had the nerve to say he couldn’t get back to me due to the office being closed because of the rain. But you’re mobile. Your cell phone shuts down as well? This man is quick to say how professional they are and been in business for 15years but they are low budget and do not care about loyalty or honoring their mistakes.

He offered to pay me less than the estimate by charging me for the service. Who will pay for service when that service resulted in damages? He said he would mail me a check. I stated I did not want a personal or business check, only certified funds as in cash or a money order. He refused. I told him to make the check out to the body shop doing the work, he refused. I stated, lets meet in person for the cash, he refused. Michael Johnson never intended on paying me and tried to pay me with a bogus check. This idiot even had the nerve to say “I think you just want to get with a brother. See me again”. Very disturbing and disgusting. Does this business not have liability insurance to cover these types of situations? He stated that this sometimes happens in business, than why don’t you pay up? Oh, I know! Because you’re a FRAUD A SCAM!
