Happy Motors Tyler at Happy Motors on 11th St.810 Happy Motors...... Not So Happy!! Kaboom after only few months! Motor is fried! Beaumont Texas

I bought my car from Tyler at Happy Motors on 11th St in Nov 2014. I payed 5k cash. Tyler assured me tht car was in great mechanical condition and t had been his own personal car for several months. We sat and chatted at his desk an talked about books. He was very convincing. I wired him the money after test driving the car and talking with him. He made me a promise that if I ever had any problems with the car thatI could always bring it back and they would ifx it. He seemed very trustworthy. I was very excited about my purchase. On the second day, the engine and colant lights came on. I called him and he assured it was no big deal and that there my be a small leak smewhere thats virtually unnoticeable. " Just top it off with water"," he said and the light would go off,". Well it did . for about 30 minutes! The problem persist. So i brought to a mechanic who discovered that all the gauges had been tampered with. He could get accurate readings. Several days later the car began to misfire. So I contacted Tyler again and he agreed to pay the price for the parts but could do no repairs. He never payed for the parts. The mechanic discoveed that the majority of hoses and wiring harnesses had actuall been taped together and that half of the ignition coils were bad. At first I couldnt find a mechanic that would work on it because the catalytic converters had been removed. Then finally found one. The repairs were 700.00 just to get the car driveable. After another a few days the coolant problem began to pesist , upon where I called Tyler again. I told him about the parts for the first repair that he said he would pay for. His response was that he could only pay fotr the parts if he had ordered them. So the next time I was in Beaumont I brought the car to his shop. He had a mechanic come out and tinker with a few tings and told me it was fixed. Within 45 minutes of leaving, it happened again. The gas gauge, the temperature gauge, the odometer had al been manipulated to the point that no one could identify the problem. Finally in Jan. the car unexpectedly overheated and began smoking as I was driving down the Freeway.I had the car towed to his shop where he refused to allow the car on hi lot and also refused to take anymore of my calls. Tyler and Happy Motors have a long history of selling cars to consumers that blow up , catch fire , and overheat within just a few weeks of being purchsed. I am currently looking for people this has happened to try and get powe in numbers. I already have gathered the complaints of at least 3 others with very similar situations. Happy Motors we want our money back! We want you to stop selling these vehicles to desperate people!
